Welcome

Off The Bricks loves ideas that are refreshing, bold, a little too big, or are a bit out there. Facts, advice, and useful information don't hurt either. Useful tools, apps, and services are also welcome. You'll find all of those and more, so browse on!

Also, the name "Off The Bricks" came from a laptop who's WiFi worked much better when it was not sitting on bricks near a fireplace. The term now means to become unburdened.

What Kind of Content?

We love technology, but that's not what we're all about. Generally our focus is on stuff to make stuff better. Whether the stuff is technology, society, government, business, or just day-to-day stuff, doesn't matter to us. If we think it's a neat idea and can make an impact, we'll write about it, and maybe even make something.

Apps

Speaking of making stuff, we've done some of that already! Check out our Apps page to see if there's something you like. All our apps are free, and most of our apps run directly out of your web browser. If you're using a compatible mobile browser, you'll even be prompted to 'install' the app, to get an icon in your app tray. We tend to focus most on simple-but-useful apps, but we have a couple bigger projects, and games in mind; I suppose you could say those other projects need to get Off The Bricks, so we'll have to take our own advice, and budget some time to make those happen.
